March Book Club Book, chosen by Rachel. Read in paperback.A coming of age tale, set in the early 80's. Should be my era. Was bogged down in the middle until I read an Amazon review suggesting the book should be read as a sequence of 30 short stories, each with a beginning, middle and end. Then I got on much better with it and enjoyed it to the end.
